Working in a session

Sending work to an agent, correcting it while it runs, approving what it wants to do, and picking the session back up later.

This is the loop you spend most of your time in. A session is one conversation with one agent, running on one of your machines — and everything here is about driving it well from wherever you happen to be.

The basics

  • Starting a session — choosing the machine, folder, agent and model.
  • Permissions — what the agent may do without asking. Worth reading before you leave one running unattended.
  • Queueing and delivery — sending while the agent is busy, and what happens to a message that cannot be delivered yet.
  • Steering — correcting a turn already in flight instead of interrupting it.
  • Approvals and the inbox — where requests for permission surface.
